In commit fa87fc4c8a we switched the shebang of scripts/jdg-debc from /bin/sh to /bin/bash. But within jdg-build-and-provide-package we explicitly invoke $POST_BUILD_HOOK under `sh`, which now might fail if POST_BUILD_HOOK is set to e.g. jdg-debc, as we use bash features in it: | *** Found environment variable POST_BUILD_HOOK, set to /usr/bin/jdg-debc *** | + sh /usr/bin/jdg-debc | ┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐ | │ Displaying content of generated Debian packages. │ | └──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ | /usr/bin/jdg-debc: 14: declare: not found | /usr/bin/jdg-debc: 20: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") Let's try to directly invoke the file behind $POST_BUILD_HOOK if it has the executable permissions set. Otherwise, fall back to bash usage, given it's an essential package (so should be available by default). This should be more user friendly, overall.
