This implements the chan_sip legacy_useroption_parsing option but with a better name. * Made the caller-id number and redirecting number strings obtained from incoming SIP URI user fields always truncated at the first semicolon. People don't care about anything after the semicolon showing up on their displays even though the RFC allows the semicolon. George Joseph	4d5e96ab53	res_pjsip_caller_id: Copy header name to short header name When compact_headers was set, we were sending a zero-length header name for PAI and RPID because we always forced the short header name length to 0. We did this because we cloned the header from "From" and wanted to clear "f" from the sname. By cloning however, we bypass pjproject's automatic logic that sets sname to name if there's no compact form of the header, which there isn't for PAI and RPID. So now we force sname to be the same as name right after we set name. res_pjsip_diversion needed the same treatment for the Diversion header. Richard Mudgett	4165ea7778	SIP diversion: Fix REDIRECTING(reason) value inconsistencies. Previous chan_sip behavior: Before this patch chan_sip would always strip any quotes from an incoming reason and pass that value up as the REDIRECTING(reason). For an outgoing reason value, chan_sip would check the value against known values and quote any it didn't recognize. Incoming 480 response message reason text was just assigned to the REDIRECTING(reason). Previous chan_pjsip behavior: Before this patch chan_pjsip would always pass the incoming reason value up as the REDIRECTING(reason). For an outgoing reason value, chan_pjsip would send the reason value as passed down. With this patch: Both channel drivers match incoming reason values with values documented by REDIRECTING(reason) and values documented by RFC5806 regardless of whether they are quoted or not. RFC5806 values are mapped to the equivalent REDIRECTING(reason) documented value and is set in REDIRECTING(reason). e.g., an incoming RFC5806 'unconditional' value or a quoted string version ('"unconditional"') is converted to REDIRECTING(reason)'s 'cfu' value. The user's dialplan only needs to deal with 'cfu' instead of any of the aliases. The incoming 480 response reason text supported by chan_sip checks for known reason values and if not matched then puts quotes around the reason string and assigns that to REDIRECTING(reason). Both channel drivers send outgoing known REDIRECTING(reason) values as the unquoted RFC5806 equivalent. User custom values are either sent as is or with added quotes if SIP doesn't allow a character within the value as part of a RFC3261 Section 25.1 token. Note that there are still limitations on what characters can be put in a custom user value. e.g., embedding quotes in the middle of the reason string is silly and just going to cause you grief. * Setting a REDIRECTING(reason) value now recognizes RFC5806 aliases. e.g., Setting REDIRECTING(reason) to 'unconditional' is converted to the 'cfu' value. * Added missing malloc() NULL return check in res_pjsip_diversion.c set_redirecting_reason(). * Fixed potential read from a stale pointer in res_pjsip_diversion.c add_diversion_header(). The reason string needed to be copied into the tdata memory pool to ensure that the string would always be available. Otherwise, if the reason string returned by reason_code_to_str() was a user's reason string then the string could be freed later by another thread. Mark Michelson	4f1a8dbe92	Detect potential forwarding loops based on count. A potential problem that can arise is the following: * Bob's phone is programmed to automatically forward to Carol. * Carol's phone is programmed to automatically forward to Bob. * Alice calls Bob. If left unchecked, this results in an endless loops of call forwards that would eventually result in some sort of fiery crash. Asterisk's method of solving this issue was to track which interfaces had been dialed. If a destination were dialed a second time, then the attempt to call that destination would fail since a loop was detected. The problem with this method is that call forwarding has evolved. Some SIP phones allow for a user to manually forward an incoming call to an ad-hoc destination. This can mean that: * There are legitimate use cases where a device may be dialed multiple times, or * There can be human error when forwarding calls. This change removes the old method of detecting forwarding loops in favor of keeping a count of the number of destinations a channel has dialed on a particular branch of a call. If the number exceeds the set number of max forwards, then the call fails. This approach has the following advantages over the old: * It is much simpler. * It can detect loops involving local channels. * It is user configurable. The only disadvantage it has is that in the case where there is a legitimate forwarding loop present, it takes longer to detect it. However, the forwarding loop is still properly detected and the call is cleaned up as it should be. Mark Michelson	c98e04753b	Resolve race condition where channels enter dialplan application before media has been negotiated. Testsuite tests will occasionally fail because on reception of a 200 OK SIP response, an AST_CONTROL_ANSWER frame is queued prior to when media has finished being negotiated. This is because session supplements are called into before PJSIP's inv_session code has told us that media has been updated. Sometimes the queued answer frame is handled by the PBX thread before the ensuing media negotiations occur, causing a test failure. As it turns out, there is another place that session supplements could be called into, which is after media has finished getting negotiated. What this commit introduces is a means for session supplements to indicate when they wish to be called into when handling an incoming SIP response. By default, all session supplements will be run at the same point that they were prior to this commit. However, session supplements may indicate that they wish to be handled earlier than normal on redirects, or they may indicate they wish to be handled after media has been negotiated. In this changeset, two session supplements have been updated to indicate a preference for when they should be run: res_pjsip_diversion executes before handling redirection in order to get information from the Diversion header, and chan_pjsip now handles responses to INVITEs after media negotiation to fix the race condition mentioned previously. Kinsey Moore	7cbb6eab15	PJSIP: Add Path header support This adds Path support to chan_pjsip in res_pjsip_path.c with minimal additions in res_pjsip_registrar.c to store the path and additions in res_pjsip_outbound_registration.c to enable advertisement of path support to registrars and intervening proxies. Path information is stored on contacts and is enabled via Address of Record (AoRs) and Registration configuration sections. While adding path support, it became necessary to be able to add SIP supplements that handled messages outside of sessions, so a framework for handling these types of hooks was added in parallel to the already-existing session supplements and several senders of out-of-dialog requests were refactored as a result. The general gist is to have a clear boundary between old SIP stuff and new SIP stuff by having the word "SIP" for old stuff and "PJSIP" for new stuff. Here's a brief rundown of the changes: * The word "Gulp" in dialstrings, functions, and CLI commands is now "PJSIP" * chan_gulp.c is now chan_pjsip.c * Function names in chan_gulp.c that were "gulp_" are now "chan_pjsip_" * All files that were "res_sip" are now "res_pjsip" * The "res_sip" directory is now "res_pjsip" * Files in the "res_pjsip" directory that began with "sip_" are now "pjsip_" * The configuration file is now "pjsip.conf" instead of "res_sip.conf" * The module info for all PJSIP-related files now uses "PJSIP" instead of "SIP" * CLI and AMI commands created by Asterisk's PJSIP modules now have "pjsip" as the starting word instead of "sip" git-svn-id: https://origsvn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/trunk@395764 65c4cc65-6c06-0410-ace0-fbb531ad65f3	12 years ago
