Most of the configObjects and configOptions that are implemented with ACO or Sorcery now have `<since>/<version>` elements added. There are probably some that the script I used didn't catch. The version tags were determined by the following... * Do a git blame on the API call that created the object or option. * From the commit hash, grab the summary line. * Do a `git log --grep <summary>` to find the cherry-pick commits in all branches that match. * Do a `git patch-id` to ensure the commits are all related and didn't get a false match on the summary. * Do a `git tag --contains <commit>` to find the tags that contain each commit. * Weed out all tags not <major>.<minor>.0. * Sort and discard any <major>.0.0 and following tags where the commit appeared in an earlier branch. * The result is a single tag for each branch where the API was last touched. configObjects and configOptions elements implemented with the base ast_config APIs were just not possible to find due to the non-deterministic way they are accessed. Also note that if the API call was on modified after it was added, the version will be the one it was last modified in. Final note: The configObject and configOption elements were introduced in 12.0.0 so options created before then may not have any XML documentation.	3 months ago

With the new module loader it was missed that built-in modules never parsed dependencies from mod->info into vectors of mod. This caused manager to be initialized before acl (named_acl). If manager.conf used any named ACL's they would not be found and result in no ACL being applied to the AMI user. In addition to the manager ACL fix this adds "extconfig" to all builtin modules which support realtime configuration. This only matters if one of the builtin modules is configured with 'preload', depending on "extconfig" will cause config.c to automatically be initialize during the preload stage. Unlike loadable modules these use AST_MODULE_LOAD_FAILURE on error so the module loader will abort startup on failure of these modules. Some of these modules are still initialized or shutdown from outside the module loader. logger.c is initialized very early and shutdown very late, manager.c is initialized by the module loader but is shutdown by the Asterisk core (too much uses it without holding references). Matt Jordan	4a58261694	git migration: Refactor the ASTERISK_FILE_VERSION macro ... Git does not support the ability to replace a token with a version string during check-in. While it does have support for replacing a token on clone, this is somewhat sub-optimal: the token is replaced with the object hash, which is not particularly easy for human consumption. What's more, in practice, the source file version was often not terribly useful. Generally, when triaging bugs, the overall version of Asterisk is far more useful than an individual SVN version of a file. As a result, this patch removes Asterisk's support for showing source file versions. Specifically, it does the following: * Rename ASTERISK_FILE_VERSION macro to ASTERISK_REGISTER_FILE, and remove passing the version in with the macro. Other facilities than 'core show file version' make use of the file names, such as setting a debug level only on a specific file. As such, the act of registering source files with the Asterisk core still has use. The macro rename now reflects the new macro purpose. * main/asterisk: - Refactor the file_version structure to reflect that it no longer tracks a version field. - Remove the "core show file version" CLI command. Without the file version, it is no longer useful. - Remove the ast_file_version_find function. The file version is no longer tracked. - Rename ast_register_file_version/ast_unregister_file_version to ast_register_file/ast_unregister_file, respectively. * main/manager: Remove value from the Version key of the ModuleCheck Action. The actual key itself has not been removed, as doing so would absolutely constitute a backwards incompatible change. In addition, this now specifies the default options for the maxpayloads and maxicecandidates in such a way that it doesn't cause the invalid read in config_options.c to occur. David M. Lee	d81c846724	Avoid unnecessary cleanups during immediate shutdown ... This patch addresses issues during immediate shutdowns, where modules are not unloaded, but Asterisk atexit handlers are run. In the typical case, this usually isn't a big deal. But the introduction of the Stasis message bus makes it much more likely for asynchronous activity to be happening off in some thread during shutdown. During an immediate shutdown, Asterisk skips unloading modules. But while it is processing the atexit handlers, there is a window of time where some of the core message types have been cleaned up, but the message bus is still running. Specifically, it's still running module subscriptions that might be using the core message types. If a message is received by that subscription in that window, it will attempt to use a message type that has been cleaned up. To solve this problem, this patch introduces ast_register_cleanup(). This function operates identically to ast_register_atexit(), except that cleanup calls are not invoked on an immediate shutdown. All of the core message type and topic cleanup was moved from atexit handlers to cleanup handlers. This ensures that core type and topic cleanup only happens if the modules that used them are first unloaded. This patch also changes the ast_assert() when accessing a cleaned up or uninitialized message type to an error log message. Message type functions are actually NULL safe across the board, so the assert was a bit heavy handed. Especially for anyone with DO_CRASH enabled. This allows system administrators to define an ACL and refer to it by a unique name. Configurable items can then refer to that name when specifying access control lists. It also includes updates to all core supported consumers of ACLs. That includes manager, chan_sip, and chan_iax2. This feature is based on the deluxepine-trunk by Olle E.
